Text messaging terms

Verification messages
When you request a code, you authorize Roost to send an automated text to the number you provide for account verification, sign-in or phone linking. You must control that number. Verification traffic depends on your requests; message and data charges may apply. Delivery is not guaranteed, and carriers are not responsible for delayed or missing messages. Never share a code with another person.
Optional launch and product updates
If you separately opt in, Roost may send automated marketing texts about launches and product updates. This choice is optional, is separate from accepting the Terms, and is not a condition of purchase or use of Roost. Message frequency varies and message/data charges may apply. Providing a number for verification alone does not subscribe you to marketing.
Stop or get help
Reply STOP to a Roost marketing message to end that subscription and HELP for assistance. You can also withdraw marketing consent or request help at info@roostmate.app. A verification sender may not support replies: contact us if replies are unavailable. Blocking verification texts may prevent phone sign-in or account recovery. A later request for an authentication code is not consent to restart marketing. Tell us if you stop controlling a subscribed number.
Privacy
Roost does not sell, rent or disclose mobile numbers or SMS consent to other organizations for their own advertising or promotional campaigns, including affiliates. Messaging vendors and carriers receive the information needed to deliver and safeguard messages; legally required disclosures may also occur. Read /privacy for other processing. These text terms supplement /terms. Contact: info@roostmate.app.
