Request removal without an account
Email info@roostmate.app with the subject Intimate image removal. You do not need a Roost account. The person depicted, or someone authorized to act for them, can request removal. Do not attach or redistribute the intimate image; describe where we can find it on Roost.
What to include
Include your physical or electronic signature (such as your typed full name), a reply email or other contact method, and enough information to locate the image, such as a profile link or name and the photo involved. State that you have a good-faith belief the intimate image was published without the depicted person's consent, and explain briefly why. If acting for someone else, say that you are authorized to act for the depicted person. This process also covers qualifying digitally altered intimate images.
Removal and follow-up
For a valid request covered by the TAKE IT DOWN Act, the removal deadline is 48 hours after receipt. The process includes reasonable efforts to locate and remove known identical copies. We use request information for review, removal, safety and legal handling, and may ask for clarification where necessary. Contact info@roostmate.app for status; include your original message date and any reference you received. Other prohibited content can also be reported in the app.
Immediate danger
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Roost is not an emergency response service.
